Escea were founded in 2002 in the depths of southern New Zealand and build fires inspired by their philosophy of Beautiful Warmth. Just like us, Escea's founder believes in the ability of a fire to create an environment for memorable moments.

Still making all their fires in Dunedin, New Zealand, Escea are always developing new ideas and technology, reflected in the new LR series of linear burner-style electric fires - a world-first. Since launching their first holographic fire in 2024, Escea have continued to innovate in this technology.

Escea's range of electric fires cover freestanding and built-in models, offering great versatility. Their fires sit at the contemporary end of the spectrum and ideally suited for more modern spaces. Using holographic technology across their LE and LR ranges, Escea's fires are incredibly realistic. Another stand-out feature is their heater element. When hard-wired, this offers up to 3.5kW of heat while most electric fires max out at 2kW.

With their Fire for Life not-for-profit project Escea sought to give back by designing a a lightweight, portable stove which burns cleanly and safely as an alternative to open fire cooking in developing countries. Learn more about this project here.
